1. Acceptance of Terms

 
By accessing or using the website of Shankus Events ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of this website immediately.
 
 

2. Services

 
Shankus Events provides professional event management, planning, and coordination services including but not limited to weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and private celebrations. All services are subject to a separate written service agreement signed between the client and Shankus Events prior to commencement of work.
 
 

3. Booking & Payments

 

  • A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your event date.
  • Full payment schedules will be outlined in your individual service contract.
  • Shankus Events reserves the right to cancel or suspend services in the event of non-payment.
  • All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card, and other approved payment methods.


 

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the booking deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 15–29 days of the event will forfeit 50% of the total contract value.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will forfeit 100% of the total contract value.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10–14 business days.
  • Shankus Events is not responsible for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or force majeure events.


 

5. Client Responsibilities

 
The client agrees to:
 

  • Provide accurate and timely information required for event planning.
  • Obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and venue approvals unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Ensure access to venues and locations at agreed times.
  • Be responsible for the conduct of their guests during the event.


 

6. Intellectual Property

 
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and multimedia, is the exclusive property of Shankus Events and is protected under U.S. copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
 
 

7. Photography & Media Rights

 
Shankus Events reserves the right to photograph or video record events we manage for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out of this, please notify us in writing at least 14 days before your event.
 
 

8. Third-Party Vendors

 
Shankus Events may work with third-party vendors such as caterers, photographers, florists, and venues. While we carefully vet our partners, we are not liable for the independent actions, quality, or failures of third-party service providers. Any disputes with vendors should be addressed directly with the respective vendor.
 
 

9. Limitation of Liability

 
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shankus Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid by that client for the specific event in question.
 
 

10. Indemnification

 
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shankus Events, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your event activities.
 
 

11. Privacy Policy

 
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
 
 

12. Governing Law
